
By including videos, improved photos, personalised text placements, shoppable product-comparison charts, and more on your product detail pages, A+ Content is a tool that helps you highlight your products and tell the story of your brand. Make use of this tool to improve your listings, raise sales, promote repeat business, and build brand awareness.
Who is eligible to use A+ Content?
Brand representatives and resellers are the intended users of A+ content. You must be a professional seller with a Brand Representative or Reseller role assigned to the brand of that ASIN through the Amazon Brand Registry Process in order to add ASINs to your A+ Content. Emerging selling partners who have been accepted into specific managed selling programs, like Launchpad and Amazon Exclusives, can also access A+ Content. Please get in touch with your brand administrator to request a Selling Role assignment if your brand is already registered but you are still unable to access A+ Content. Open a support case on Brand Registry if you are unable to contact your administrator.
The Standard Enhanced Product Description (Basic A+) and A+ Brand Story content features are added without incurring any fees. In the future, if we decide to charge for new kinds of A+ content, we will notify you in advance through the A+ Content tool so that your current content won’t be affected.
What kinds of content are classified as A+?
The following content types, which appear in distinct sections on the detail page, can be included in your A+ content:
Basic Content (A+)
To enhance the bullet points and pictures on the primary product detail page, include additional information about the features and applications of the product. By proactively responding to their enquiries, these extra details assist customers in making decisions about what to buy. The Product Description section of the detail page contains the Basic A+ Content, which consists of:
Availability of a wide range of content creation modules and layouts
Personalised images and paragraph headers
Distinct layouts for images and text
Charts for comparing products
Rich text editor with feature lists in the form of bullets and numbers
A minimum of two products and two attributes can be compared in a product line using comparison charts.
Premium A+ Content
Compared to Basic A+ Content, Premium A+ Content uses more real estate on the detail page and richer media content to increase engagement with best-in-class detail page experiences available for supplemental marketing information. This also appears in the detail page’s Product Description and comprises:
Modules for interactive hover hotspots
Several video modules
Improved charts for comparison
The detail page’s larger images
Modules for carousels
Module for Q&A
Are you ready to start?
Step 1: Sign in to Seller CentralYou can either sign up as a seller or log in to your Seller Central account. If you want to use A+ Content, you need to have a Professional selling plan.
Step 2: Sign up your brand
If you own the rights to a brand that is eligible, sign it up for Brand Registry. If you work for a brand that is already enrolled, you can also ask the Rights Owner or another Administrator to give you the role of Brand Representative (you will need to log in).
Step 3: Make your content. Move your mouse over “Advertising” in the Seller Central main menu and click “A+ Content Manager.” Click “Start creating A+ Content” on the A+ Content Manager page, then choose the type of content you want to make.You can make your content on the Content details page by adding and changing content modules.
Step 4: Add content to your products
After you make your content, click “Apply ASINs” to choose the items you want to use it on. Click “Apply Content” after you’ve made your choice.
Step 5: Send in your content for review. After you’ve added content to your products, send it in for review. It will usually be looked at within seven business days. You can see what it is doing at any time from the A+ Content Manager page.
